2007 Engineer of the Year

On February 24th at the Banquet culminating the National Engineers Week, Ken Hayashida, principal of KAI Hawaii, Inc., was named 2007 Engineer of the Year by the Hawaii Society of Professional Engineers. The award recognizes his outstanding service and achievement in the practice of professional engineering and service to the community. Mr. Hayashida was nominated by the Hawaii Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers for his significant contributions to the engineering community in Hawaii for the past sixteen years.
